EcoAction Partners is a non-profit group established in 2007 (originally as The New Community Coalition) that focuses on promoting and facilitating sustainability in San Miguel County and the surrounding region.   Its main funders are the tri-governments of the Town of Telluride, San Miguel County, and The town of Mountain Village, as well as various generous foundations, grant opportunities and other local governments in order to educate and implement programs that work towards a local self reliance to enhance a more sustainable future.

EcoAction Partners mission is to inspire, initiate and support collaborative community actions that enhance resilient economic, environmental and social systems.  We have a host of programs and resources for consumers in our region focusing on energy efficiency and renewables, waste reduction, and local food.  Previous funding for green building initiatives came through ENERGY STAR for New Homes grants from the previous Colorado Governor's Energy Office.  Efforts included development of energy efficient building codes, training opportunities, and green building resources.  For more information on our programs visit our website.
